Piedmont: A Re-imagined Thomas Church Garden

This project revitalized an original Thomas Church Garden, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity to meet the needs of an active family.

The space, once characterized by beautiful symmetry but worn materials, was transformed into a sophisticated setting for both large gatherings and intimate family moments.

• Large-scale stones from India and Egypt added a majestic touch to the courtyards, while existing brick walls were resurfaced with stucco and stone caps to harmonize with the Mediterranean style of the home.

• Commissioned sculptures, including a striking water fountain, brought depth and intrigue to the space.

• Custom wraparound stone benches, an outdoor fireplace, and steel gates created distinct areas for entertaining, preserving the original charm of the garden while enhancing its functionality and elegance.

This reimagined landscape now offers an expansive indoor-outdoor living experience that balances timeless beauty with modern luxury.
