About This Project

The clients’ vision for an organic, kid-friendly, and elegant landscape shaped this Elmwood project. The existing site needed a complete transformation to meet the needs of a growing family.

We designed layered gardens with distinct spaces for both children and adults. These included a patio with an overhead pergola for entertaining and a decomposed granite area where the kids could safely ride their bikes and play.

Sustainable materials were thoughtfully integrated, from the permeable decomposed granite used in the patio and driveway to a reclaimed wood bench, drought-tolerant plants, fruit trees, and a vegetable garden.
