About This Project

Inspired by an electric car charging station, this project seamlessly blends functionality and creativity, enhancing the home’s modern aesthetic. Working closely with the homeowner, a graphic designer, we transformed the unremarkable front lawn into a striking, practical space.

Custom Corten steel retaining walls double as planters, framing the driveway and adding an architectural touch. The drought-tolerant plants soften the industrial steel with lush greenery cascading over the edges. The result is a bold yet balanced garden that merges sustainable design with artistic flair.

In the backyard, we reshaped a once dark, unstructured space into a bright, flowing garden that seamlessly connects the home to the outdoors. Three crushed granite courtyards were framed by custom concrete planters, while a modern horizontal fence paired with restored mid-century Mexican doors creates a perfect blend of past and present, resulting in a timeless, inviting garden.
