About This Project

This Berkeley Hills project is a perfect example of our eco-conscious innovation and design mastery. The challenging wooded site, with its limited usable space, required a solution that balanced aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility.

We implemented extensive terracing using pre-cast cement blocks to create distinct, low maintenance gathering areas. Custom-built IPE planters serve a dual purpose, providing both structure and seating, while galvanized wire fencing opens the space to stunning park views.

The wrap-around courtyard features a bocce ball court, perfect for family entertainment, while the plant palette includes nearly 100% drought-tolerant and exotic species. These unique choices offer a practical yet visually captivating landscape that harmonizes effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The result is a sustainable, elegant outdoor retreat designed for years of enjoyment.
